aode problems help

my friend has a 1992 bronco w/351w and has taken all the fuel injection system off, installed carb,now the trans is not coming out of 2nd gear,help.

that trans is controlled by the computer is it not????

Actually,it's not the AODE,but the AOD,or E4OD tranny. How did he set up the TV/kickdown linkage?
