This is why I love pics and getting reactions....for most who don't deal with things like this is looks really bad to see everything from the firewall forward missing. The rear quarter panel was a ton more work to replace than the front end....considering how much time Jason spent on the rear quarter to this it is nothing....This car drove under it's own Power Wednesday with the front end crumpled and as of this morning(Friday) it has the new rails, towers and core support welded in place. Also consider that we take a car farther apart than any regular body shop would....I doubt any shop would have removed the dash but because the firewall was being welded to Jason wanted to make sure he could get everwhere for both inspection and safety of what couldn't be seen with the dash installed. ...And sadly most shops would not have done the repair properly either....I have seen too many Mustangs half assed put back together. But most shops are worried about turning the $$$ really fast and want it in and out, Ofcourse we have to eat too but we would rather take the time to do it right and turn out a nice finished product...when finished you will never be able to tell this car was repaired. There are still a lot of good shops out there but they are few and far between it seems

Well if it was just a run-of-the-mill car, screw it. take the money and get something else. But run-of-the-mill to me might be special to someone else

Re: The Sickness '03 GT update....
You didn't read that right. I said if my car was run-of-the-mill (i.e., 1 of a billion GT mustangs on the road), and it was wrecked like that, I'd just take the cash and get me another.
It's your car, I'm sure jason & paul will make it nice

Re: The Sickness '03 GT update....
no, I read it right, and understand where you're coming from. We just look at things differently.
I look at the wreck as an opportunity to take something considered "run-of-the-mill" and turn it into something that is truely one-of-a-kind (which I could never had done if it hadn't been for the wreck). While taking the money and splurging for an 03 cobra or 05 gt would be nice, I wouldn't be able to afford to do any kind of mods to them because of the extra debt. And therefore I would have a car that (while unwrecked) is still just "run-of-the-mill" We just hold different points of view.

More updates....front rails are on and finished....engine bay is cut in with the new color that will go on the car. I had this color picked out for my Turbo Coupe and Jon liked it so much he had to copy me ...he actually wanted black so we suggested this color
