Re: my current load levels

Try to think of it as following the torque curve. If you look at the TQ range of your cam it will be close to what you see in the graph. If you dont bring it back down then the spark and fuel settings for that load range could exceed the cars capabilities. You may experience pinging and rich conditions.

When you get your base idle load correct and fuel then you'll need to readjust your WOT because it can affect the entire rpm range and the MAF table too.

Glad to see your getting it down, with the first load values it looks like you were trying to idle with the clutch out and the brake on

later Doug.

Ohhh, I love you for that feature. If you remember I am the idiot with the LLX3 that likes to read normally then jump to 17:1 A/F at 18000rpm.

Re: my current load levels

My Load at idle is about 15-18% in the 03 Lightning
The highest I saw on a WOT run I made yesterday was 190%...Wow
I read in the SCT book that a Gen 2 Lightning with a Kenne Bell blower can see as much as a 200% load.

You know, I'm absolutely useless during load scaling discussions...

Re: my current load levels

The EEC-IV will max out at 199% load. I can say this is true for the mustangs, but the Lightning, I have no experience with. I would ASSume that it would be the same. If you hit 199 then you will need to rescale.

Sendero:

I agree the feature was in dire need when tweecer 1.3 came out. I believe it affected all logging, no matter which processor you had. I use the feature every day

My next version will have a filter on the load tab for the TP. Those of you that have the EEC Analyzer, have you tried the MPG estimation?

I just noticed it yesterday and actually checked the box when I was datalogging my load.

didn't check the correct boxes for it to work though
