Re: MAF Transfer Function Theory...

I bit the bullet and went back to a Pro Racer Package. It didn't look like there'd be a Tweecer around before I got my turbo kit, so I went with what I know. This way, I'll be able to play with the tune a bit before I start installing things.

I also went with an SCT BA2800 for the MAF. The transfer function is known and I won't be screwing with load. I'll be using it in a blow-through configuration, so I'm hoping by going to the bigger MAF I won't peg it. I'm only looking at 400 or so with the stock long block and the turbo, so I should be alright. We'll see soon enough.

Re: MAF Transfer Function Theory...

Your answer to the first question is to scale the injector high and low slopes as well as engine displacement by19/45 = .45. Then start with the stock transfer function and tune from there. EEC4 cars dont have a good way to monitor load because you can't datalogg them with anything on the market YET besides a tweecer and you can't run a tweecer and SCT chip at the same time. Watch your MAF voltage and start from there.
