03 cobra boost issue

The help was much appreciated.

Even though our cars are similiar, his feels a lot faster. With the suspension being soft and the huge amount of torque, you get the nice throwback feeling. The talon is just fast without feeling it. The suspension is very stiff and the turbo lag makes it deceiving.

29 on a green would feel good. I'm currently running 20psi on a Red

Red would be the weapon of choice if I built another 1g awd for sure...

Most of my money has been dumped in the suspension. Here's the relevant engine mods.

90 TSi AWD 5spd
stock longblock with 60-trim
Full 3" exhaust with o2 elim.
Extreme Intercoolers street kit
MAFT
ACT2600/XACT Flywheel

I need cams & another bov. Mine flutters. Plus I can't spin the engine high enough to keep it spooled between gears. It pulls like crazy, but you really don't feel it. Not like in my friend's 03.

We raced a couple times yesterday. Both times my car wouldn't go into 4th. I fixed it afterwards. We're going to the track this weekend, but we couldn't wait and I was sorting something out. From 10-110. He jumped me bad through 1-2, about 3 cars. When I hit 3rd I started charging like crazy and was on his back bumper.

Not too shabby reeling in a 450whp 03 cobra from a roll in awd car By sorting out the tune/boost I have enough 100hp waiting. On pump gas no less. He has a couple mods coming so it should be interesting.

Yes it was done on a clear open road near my house. If you don't like people street racing, then obviously I don't give a shit since I'm posting a vid of it.

I couldn't remember if some people got pissy over people street racing so I was just throwing in my disclaimer I don't care to hear it sometimes. I know the risks and sometimes I do it anyway.

They're not going to let you run the kart against cars, it'd be too dangerous. That and there's no comparision, you might as well as throw in bikes too. But if you want to stare at my taillights through the 1/8th and on the interstate I can oblige
