Is it wired to the ignition on hot or has it been wired to a constant hot?Needs to be switch on only. Also the brand of module is important if made in mexico they will burn up quiet easily. The 2 that i have owned would burn up if i turned the switch on engine not running for any length of time pretty quick.I beleive it is black wire with light green ignition hot
