Is this it??

This one's a bit large for your 5.4, unless you have some pretty stout parts and intend it to be a racecar. What you will like on the street is a straight T4...something in the 70-76mm range, with at least a "clipped P-trim" or a "GTQ" trim turbine wheel. Spools nice and enough for 600-800rwhp, depending on configuration.

Post pics if you have any.

Uh Huh...that's it

Diesel turbos like that generally have a HUGE turbine wheel and housing, it might not even spin on idle...seriously. It would need a very big, healthy motor to spin it up. Then, the compressor wheels are generally smaller than a big, healthy motor could use for big power. They're just mismatched for a gas-engine.

Not to mention, all the weight you remove with the tubular K-member will be re-installed with that 50-pound chunk of iron on there. You have to make a support bracket specifically to hold those things up because exhaust headers will bend, crack, and collapse under the weight alone.

What condition is it in? Might be able to trade on some parts that could go toward something a little smaller. We occasionally get inquiries about 18-wheeler rebuilds and it might be a good core.
