pulled the heads off today and found this #... any help would be great

That is a stock 5.0 head. I believe they came on all cars from 87-95

im a lil confused if they only cam on H.O. motors or just your normal 5.0

Yep, they were originally truck heads that Ford put on the H.O. engines starting in '87.

i believe the x cam is a little big for e7 heads.

You need some GT40 irons at the minimum for that cam, unless you're getting them ported and cut for bigger valves.
