SVT Focus Fuel Pumps
I see this mod on a lot of newer Cobras and GTs. Why are they such a hot item and what are the advantages over other fuel pumps? Who markets the pump or is a Ford stock item?

Typically only needed with power adders because the factory fuel pump just can't get the needed fuel to the engine. If you are keeping your car N/A and not making major internal changes, you will more than likely not need it.
It is a factory item from Ford. You can buy them through Ford or find them on ebay regularly. It flows 255lph versus ?155lph? for the factory pump I believe. |

If the Focus Pump is used, is there a need for larger injectors?
As far as internal changes, pistons, patriot heads, typoon intake etc. |

The need for larger injectors just depends on your setup. You might need 24lbs or possible 30lbs but I wouldn't imagine anything larger than that.
