New times on the 347..

well on the way to the track we passed threw a good bit of rain but it didn't touch the track...i know a lot of people were and are upset about the cancel of track day but if it would of rained on us i'm sure wed all be alil more upset that we drove all that way and i didnt really feel like getting a second job to try and help pay off a $4k bill...as for the times with a half tank of gas and on the slicks the car ran a 12.17 shifting a 5000....i let it cool then went back and shifted at 5500 and ran a 12.15....let it cool then ran it shifting at 5600 (highest i could go) and ran a 12.12 at 111.80 with a 1.65 sixty foot i couldn't get it to run any faster without taking out interior pieces but i want to have a 11 second full interior street car. Im happy with the times after all i was shooting for 12.20s...........i do believe that the intake is slowing me down and i also think the cam isn't right for my set up so i got to save up some more money before i go 11's

Just proves the dyno isn't always the final word on how fast a car really is.

you are so right,my 331 only dynoed 330hp and 350 tq and i ran 11.40s.on motor
