Cool! I've cleaned up my lights a few times like that. The last polishing step really makes the difference for sure!
But heck...foxbody lights are only $99 for the entire set of 6... saves me the hassle and they ALL look new at that point. LOL. (Reminds me.. I need to buy a couple sets of them )

when I still had the '88,I used 3m paste cleaner and a buffing wheel.....
Made them look almost better than new...........took about 30min per lite,but I was happy.

About $285 for the svo lights. And I still can't get the outer marker lights. Time to do it again.

Same goes for the Turbo Coupe - If you can find em new, they cost a lot! I use 1500 and some polishing compound, then use a polishing wheel on a drill... works pretty good.
